Melon Seed - Liu An Gua Pian 2024 Green Tea

A legendary favorite of emperors and dignitaries, known for its unique single leaves. Named 'Melon Seed' for its leaf shape. Fresh and vegetal aroma, crisp and clean taste with a delicate sweetness. 

Handcrafted by traditional artisans in Liu An, Anhui Province in China. Gua Pian is one of China's oldest teas. This tea is from the 2024 harvest.

Fun fact: this tea was given to Henry Kissinger as a gift during his secret first visit to China in 1971.
