Kukicha is a Japanese green tea made of stems, stalks and twigs of the tea plant (Camellia Sinensis) and has a lower caffeine content than leaf green teas, as caffeine is mostly concentrated on the leaves. As a result, this tea can be enjoyed as a bedtime tea.

The kukicha in this blend is roasted for a toasty flavor.
