Earthy, smooth, and deeply satisfying — this aged tea offers a nutty richness with subtle herbaceous tones and a lingering sweet finish.

From the misty hills of Guangxi’s Wuzhou region, Liu Bao Cha—literally “Six Fort Tea”—has long been treasured for its grounding energy and digestive support. This 2020 vintage brews a deep reddish liquor with a velvety texture and distinctive notes of roasted nuts, dry herbs, and gentle wood. Aged through a traditional wet-piling method, this tea offers a mellow, full-bodied experience without harshness.

Liu Bao originates from the Zhuang minority region of southern China, near the Vietnam border. Nestled at elevations between 500–1500 meters, the pollution-free forests and warm, humid climate create ideal conditions for producing dark teas with depth and clarity.

Once an inspiration for the development of ripe (shou) Pu’er in neighboring Yunnan, Liu Bao remains a hidden gem in the world of fermented tea. Known also as “Six Treasure Tea” or “China Red”, this tea is deeply tied to tradition and offers a meditative, digestive-friendly brew perfect for post-meal grounding.
